Vantage point for the image is south of Revelstoke looking westward across the grassy flats and Columbia River.
Jacqueline and her husband Mark visited Revelstoke in April 2006 during which she painted a number of watercolours for Ambience Gallery. Of the three purchased by Ambience Gallery, this is the largest. The other two were sold.
Jacquline and Mark live on Salt Spring Island where they own and operate The Meredith Studio Gallery at Vesuvius Bay, displaying Jacqueline’s watercolours of Gulf Islands subjects and Mark’s pottery.
